This half term Year 1 has hit the ground running with leading the Harvest assembly within the first month of the school year. We also celebrated World Teacher Day, where children came in dressed as their favourite teacher and thanked their teacher for all the hard work they do. For art, children have been exploring drawing using different media (shapes) and a variety of lines (straight, horizontal, vertical, diagonal, wavy and dotted). In maths, children have been learning about the concept greater than, less than and equal to using practical resources.
