At the beginning of the autumn term 2023, with the help of our amazing music volunteer Mrs Ibrahim, our KS2 choir was established.

The choir meets every Friday lunchtime between 12.50 - 1.30 within Acorns room. Mrs Ibrahim leads the choir every two weeks and the choir is supported by Mrs Fennell (Music lead) and Ms Martin (Year 5 teaching assistant). 

So far, the choir has had the opportunity to sing in front of pupils, parents and carers during the Christmas Tree dressing assembly and 20 of our choir members were chosen to perform at a local care home called Brackenbridge House care home. The children wore their Christmas or bright-coloured jumpers and sang Christmas songs. The residents and staff were so thrilled with their enthusiasm and singing, they asked them to come back at Easter!
