term 1 - ONCE UPON A TIME 

This term we looked at fairy tales. We explored classic texts such as Little Red Riding Hood and Three Little Pigs. 

We also celebrated Chinese New Year, Pancake Day and Valentine's Day. All the children loved creating their own lanterns, decorating their own pancakes and giving love hearts to their friends. 

Term 2 - A LONG TIME AGO

We took children back all the way back to the dinosaurs! We enjoyed reading a wide range of books to find out different dinosaur names, how they are all different and even what they like to eat. The children were engaged in investigating dinosaur eggs, creating their own dinosaur paintings and making their own imaginary dinosaur stories.
