Saplings 1

In maths, some children have been looking at counting numbers in groups of 10. 

In English, the children enjoyed pretending to be William, the main character from our story 'The Night Gardener'. The children were asked a range of 'wh' questions, and they also had to use adjectives to describe the topiary trees. 

In Saplings 2, in connection to the story 'The Iron Giant', the children designed and write a description about a trap for the giant.  

All the children and staff in Saplings classes enjoyed 'breaking the rules' day'!
